More Ways to Put off Packing....

So am I the only one worried about blogging something and having it disappear again?! I still have two posts that have been kicked back to draft-mode and they are missing all the writing I did...grrr. Not cool. Anyway, moving on....

I made some pot holders for my friend's daughter for watching Aubrey the other day:) I was told not to pay, so I figured that I'd repay in craftiness! Muahahaha, love getting around things like that(her daughter appreciates crafty goodness--her mama did a good job raising her!)!

I took some of my latest obsession fabric, Heather Bailey, and whipped these up. Side note---every once in a while I go through a phase in which I believe that I have a new "favorite" fabric designer, but I ALWAYS come back to Heather Bailey. There is just something so beautiful about her fabrics that I love and can't get enough of! I mean, have you seen the Nicey Jane fabric?!? SO beautiful!
....back to the pot holders.... I had some of the heat-protective-inside-stuff(yes, that is the technical term) left over from previous birthday presents I had made and decided to make this project(the daughter is ALL about cooking and baking---not using names because I have not given them yet...although the mom will know exactly who she is....hmmm maybe I'm not being so stealth....)
I used my other obsession, ruffles, to add a somethin' extra to them :)
And here's a little action shot "using" them for y'all(practicing for Georgia) because who doesn't love a little action shot?!? You're welcome.

Linking up....
