I was going to post a crafty blog post tonight, but I had the most fabulous day and I wanted to share it with you all. Aubrey and I had a skip-packing...errrr play date with our friends Amy and Maddie, and it was so wonderful!
The backyard in our little NJ multi-family home is beyond pathetic, so being able to spend a hot day in a huge backyard with sprinklers and kiddie pools, was GLORIOUS!
Not to mention the company!
Amy and I keep saying that these two girls are like sisters, they fight and love like them.
Well, Aubrey whines and Maddie tries to tell her what to do....good times:) Personally, I think it's great, Aubrey could use a good bossing around now and then....and not by me for once!
There was a LOT of splashing....
and mud....
and best of all....
muddy puddles!
And what better way to end the day than with popsicles?!?
Just an all around fabulous day...Annnnnnnd now I'm officially trying to not to cry thinking about leaving these amazing friends....

Love you guys! It will be hard to leave "these friends".
Man what a nice way to spend the day. Maddie is sitting on my lap while I was reading this she is now singing Aubrey this is your Pop, Maddie this one is my pop pop pop pop.... LOL
They do love and fight like sisters... I love it. Aubrey is gonna fight back one day and Maddie is going to be in shock.... '
Crying now too.... thank a lot. been crying lots these days.
BFF's. How cute--and sad. It's not often that you can find such a great friend, and your kids be best friends as well. My heart aches for you guys, and for your kids. Seriously! But hey. Jesus brought you guys together, and this is a friendship that can last no matter what. ( as me and Jen have already experienced, moving away from our home.) It's a great excuse for you to have plenty of road trips, Amy!
Jumping up and down in muddy puddles. My kids are jealous :)
oh my gosh I love these pictures!!! it sounds like a perfect day. and I love Aubrey's bathing suit!
I just had our second daughter on Saturday...makes me dream about the future!
It amazes me how even young kiddos form such tight bonds with one another. What a sweet day.
